They're two isolated islands in the pacafic ocean. How do you send large clusters of tank force onto the island? without dominating air force and nava fleet?

Since 1950's, PLA has never got a chance to be tested in modern war, with a premir military force such as NATO or Russia. Even in the 1979 border war with Vietnam, PLA proved to be an out-of-date, poorly trained, and not suitable to modern battlefield army. Since then, China used the money grabed from those minimum salaried farmers and workers to import quite an amount of Russian weapons to get its system updated. However, the integration level and the deplyment capability still haven't reached the level that was expected.

I don't believe PLA can easily win the battle with Taiwan or Japan, though those Chinese no-brain patriots make quite a noise.
