The purpose of the No-Fault Law is to enable you to collect immediately for injuries resulting from an automobile accident regardless of fault.
BPIP pays:
1. Up to $50000 per person per accident;
2. Necessary medical, dental, hospital and rehabilitation expenses;
3. 80% of your lost earnings up to a maximum of $2000 per month for three years;
4. Up to $25 per day for other expenses for a period of one year from the date of the accident causing the injury
5. An additional death benefit of $2000 per person.

BPIP applies to:
1. You, household relatives, occupants of your car, and pedestrians for accidents occurring inside New York state.
2. You, and household relatives for accidents occurring in any state or Canadian Province.
3. New York state residents for accidents occurring in any state or Canadian Province, provided they are either pedistrians or occupants of your car.
