You guys all missed the point. Everyone seems to assume that there is a correlation between a nation's economic success and a nations's average IQ. Why is this assumption reasonable? I say the average IQ of a small number of brightest(and most influential) people is much more important. In any society the majority are suckers. They do what they are told to do and they think with information the most influential choose to provide. The IQ of the majority makes no difference.
So instead of wastign time trying to interpret the implication of slightly higher average, one should give a close look at the VARIANCE.
Considering the fact that really studpid Chinese peopel are scarce I say really smart Chinese people are equally scarce.
