CO2 emission is a form of pollution, and if China had done what the US did, it would cut done CO2 emission also. As for my family, CO2 emission is much better than typical Chinese family: our electricity comes from mostly from natural gas, and nuclear, only about 1/6 are from coal. Expecting more to be from Wind and solar this year. There is a room for improvement, but much better than China. Since the Chinese government maintains its current approach toward economic development, the pollution including CO2 emission will be getting worse. The Chinese people will have to bear the consequence, and the forg in China is just the beginning.
