Self-Plagiarism is defined as efforts by scientists to publish the same data in more than one journal, assuming that the duplicated figures represent the same experiment and are labeled the same in both cases. Note: Attempts to change the figures or mislabel them would elevate this to possible "Falsification" of data, a much more serious issue.
