Coriolis is just working in the very beginning to determine the turning direction of the water, after that it is the conservation of vortex working.
In mathematics formula,
Vortex = (Vortex0 + f) *exp( -D*t)
D is the convergince, in this case, D 0, so it is anti-clockwise
But if in the beginning, Vortex0 + f < 0, then Vortex < 0, it will be clockwise.
Vortex0 + f < 0 is very easy, as f is a very small value, at the order of 10e-4.
