There are lots of mistakes about Tian Gang in 谈谈北大的“田刚现象”. I just mention two of them.

First all, Tian Gang is now 长江讲座教授, not 长江学者.
Tian (with other 3 oversea scholars in Math) was 长江学者 at very beginning. At that time, there was no 长江讲座教授 position. After establishing 长江讲座 Professorship one or two years later, they changed to be 长江讲座教授.
(夏宏志 is also 长江讲座教授, not 长江学者.)

Second, Tian did not get “国家杰出青年基金”（100万人民币).
What he got is 国家杰出青年基金 B class (30万经费?),
which is for oversea scholars.

Tian did many and will do more for chinese mathematics, like other chinese oversea mathematicians.
In fact, the time he spent in China every year is more than other peoples mentioned in the article.
