Coming to the definition of science and technology, science is about discovery, while technology is about invention, in general. Invention is based on the nature laws discovered. No one can invent laws of nature.

On the other hand, discovery is more important in human’s civilization. That is why Nobel prices in science are mainly given to scientist who discovered laws of nature.
