It appears Chinese are not good as the difference between fact and opinion.

For example, it is debatable if the following can be considered a "fact":

"毛时代非正常死亡的人数，超过中国历史上任何一个朝代，也超过希特勒的大屠杀和斯大林的大清洗。这是一个基本的历史事实。"

Since no reliable statistics is available, the above is largely an "opinion", not a fact.

Hitler murdered over 6 million Jews and led to many more millions of 非正常死亡 in WWII. Quite likely Hitler did a lot worse than Mao.

As bad as Mao was, he did not execute as many as Stalin, not even close.
