was intuducing "Chicago Boys" under Pinochet regime in Chile--their success and failure in 70s and 80s. I reminds me of the "Berkeley Mafia" under Suharto regime in Indonesia. It is amazing to look back and see that the similar idea worked successfully in NIC countries, yet failed in most third world countries.

It seems that to "build China character socialist market economy," as awkward as it sounds, may be a correct policy after all.
