because what they lose is not the ability to provide service, which is never actually lost, but the opportunity to over charge their employers (who in turn pass the additional cost to the consumer).

So college graduates in China need to be much more forward looking instead of counting on selling their knowledge and skills acquired from the school. The job market for new graduate is so competitive that what they have learned from books is worth not much than what they paid for the cost of education.
