I have a mini-DV camcorder. I normally edit two to three mini-DV tape video into one DVD. It took me one to three days to edit them.
The mini-DV records as AVI file, you need a huge hard drive. I have a 200GB HD, 512MB memory card. After finishing editing, it took 2-3hr to produce, and 30-40 min to burn on DVD.
