1). I think the example given by Ban Zhu is not very convincing. I do hope the orignal words of the speaker could be recorded.

It is a good practice to mention the sponsor's name in your speech for this kind of commercial activity. In order to invite a nobel prize winner to give a talk, the 出场费 is at the level of $50K even in US. Usually, this is not pure science based. You need to read his talks "between the lines".

2).Josephson's work. Josephson junction is the most precise mechansim in detecting small changes of signal. It has been used to study the electromagneic waves of human brains.
