You do not need any evidence to complain. If you are an honest person(which I always assume), you complaint should be recorded. If many complaints are recorded for that SOB, there could be troubles for his career.
Same thing happens for the sexual harrassment. If several employees complained harassment against their boss, there could be troubles for the boss.
You shouldn't worry or expect too much. Just tell them your story. Of course, you should prepare it clearly.
