When China had cheaper labors, they went to China. Now, they went to Vietnam or south American.

If they can not get enough labor force, either they quit or raise money till they got people.

Your assumption is without the cheaper pickers, the cotton / farm industries will be bankrupted or disappeared? That's not the case, auto industry still survive and earn huge profit.
