In a January appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, liberal comedian and political talk show host Bill Maher suggested Donald Trump's orange hair could be the result of his mother mating with an orangutan. NBC broadcast this side-by-side image during the broadcast.

'Attached hereto is a copy of Mr. Trump's birth certificate, demonstrating that he is the son of Fred Trump, not an orangutan,' Trump's lawyer wrote to the HBO host.
