I have been using Google for unlimited storage of photos and videos (Yes, I am cheap, no high resolution to worry, all family moments with regular resolution).

Here are the questions:
1. All three (drive, photos and picasa) are linked but not merged? So I may have the same in three places? (even in different folders of the same app, anyway to find the duplicates?)

2. I want to keep them in cloud to free up my local drive, I know if uploaded to drive/picasa I can safely delete them from local machine, the same with Photos? I got different answers from the internet but nothing is clear to me.
