Agree on OS is mentioned in Apple's statement.

Apple intentionally misinterprets the request saying it is asked to build a version of iOS that allows master key kind of approach to work. To be clear here, not to build an OS to hack another OS.

Back to the point: Apple was never asked to do that. Apply is twisting the words and then build a case on the twisted idea.
