first of all, there is not SPEC2000, there is SPEC CPU2000 which includes Cint and Cfp for integer and floating point operations. For 2.26 Ghz P4, the Cint is between 800 and 950, and Cfp is about 850 plus/minus. 1.7 Ghz P4 Cint is about 650. The Dawning 4000A was never the third, but started as 10, then 17.

As for the rest, I don't think that chip is ever gonna be very significant. MIPS chips is not very significant in the market now, what make 龙芯 so special?
