However, according to John Nash, the Nash equalibrium of this chinese-american game is in fact, a lose-lose situation: i.e. China will spend money on a futile effort developing its own chips, unable to catch the market oppertunity, and the US will lose sales in China. The bottomline is: both sides don't trust the others.
