I switched it to a brand new machine (faster and better) and due to ISP's setting (or rather limitation of today's technology, either way it's out of my control), the IP address is changed too. This will impact:
1) the other two mirror sites that points to the old address. they need to be changed to the new IP address: 70.27.175.202
2) end users whose DNS server caches the old ip address of xys.dyndns.info. This problem is temporary as the cache will eventually expire and the new ip will be fetched. During this period though, these users can either refresh the DNS or as a temporary solution directly type the new ip address in broswer. I don't know how to refresh DNS in windows system, probably do a CTRL-Refresh in IE browser or a "nslookup xys.dyndns.info"? I've noticed there are traffics coming in as i'm typing, so probably browsers will automatically retry DNS resolution when the old ip address failed?
When I have time i'll share more about the new machine and new software running on it.
