First time I pumped the gas in NJ was an embarassment. Two guys came out and wanted to be tipped. I have to pay each of them 1 buck. At that time, the gas price was so low and my small car only needed a little bit of gas. I felt a little bit robbed with the way they do business and asked some americal classmates. They told me I shouldn't pay the tips, since it is included in the price. So, I refused to tip them for several times. However, it seems to me they were expecting tips, which made me very uneasy.
So, my solution is "Do not pump gas in NJ".
