despite sharp ideological and geopolitical fights now, humans are facing common enemies:

global warming, natural disasters, aging, healthcare, low hanging fruits all picked up ( decent jobs fewer, meager wage ones plenty).

no matter whta system, communist or capitalism, autocracy or democracy, low, middel, high income, black or white, challenges are for all 8 billion people.

yet our repsonse is extremely disappointing, instead of working together, finding compromise and common ground, seems elites want to resort to wars to fix those problems (just look back china and world history), like covid not done enough damage.

very dispointing, and elites still want more human beings brought to this world, chives, human mines, wahtever name you use, elites still try to pick low hanging fruits even they are so scarcer now.

at the turn ot this centurty, like many others i felt very hopeful, yet 20 years later it's like this, very disppointing
