Forcing children to accept Chinese way

Ethnic problem is almost every nation’s headache, no easy solutions.
Like most hot button issues nowadays, patience and non violence are bottom lines. The old cruel ways can,t be replicated anymore.

China has to choose a road in between, hu yb and wang lq,s way was too soft, xi and chen qg,s too harsh.

XJ and Tibet are a bit different, throuout history Chinese (not just Hans) including uighurs have been colonizing there. If some uighurs consider themselves not Chinese, fine; but to say only uighurs, not other Chinese, have the right to live there, is at best controversial.

In summary all Chinese including uighurs have a right to live here,( and everywhere else in China) and they have to find a way to live together. Autonomous region is a bad idea, but China already followed soviet way, hard to change constitution.

Tibet is a bit different, due to geology, throuout history mainly Tibet originals live there, and few interbreedings happened. Exchange between originals and other Chinese are marginal, there is some legitimacy to Tibet autonomy at least.
