Image Averaging reduces the noise variance of individual images.
But deconvolution is an ill-posed inverse problem, you can never eliminate the blur completely, even you exactly know the blur function.
Image Sharpening is another problem, which amplifies high frequence components so some kind of image may look better, VISUALLY.
Image Superresolution techniques (not smooth-out) can be used to construct a higher resolution image from a sequence of low-resolution images.
