Yes I managed to escape the bombs ..... as did 99.999% of my fellow countrymen. We thought it must be the French, for losing the olympic bid.......

Joking apart, I don't think many people here are that shocked by it. We've had this before (with the IRA) and we have also become so hardened to anything even on our own doorsteps. Also, I'm just surprised that it hadn't
happened earlier!

My husband was on his way to work this morning. Luckily he was late. He was on the underground train but it came to a halt, so he then jumped on a bus, but then a friend phoned to say another bus had just blown up! So he jumped off the bus and went back home!
