I'm not against the cold-heartedness or cruelty or whatsoever as long as it is directed towards the opponents. What I'm against is the willingness to sacrifice his own people, not only soldiers, but also ordinary civilians.
When the US nuked Japan, it killed Japanese, not Americans. And it knew that it saved numerous American lives. Now if you start a nuke war, you are killing both the enemy and yourself, in a massive scale. People who are willing to do that, in my opinion, is just crazy and should be thrown out of office by its own people.
