I am not sure of that.
1. Medical school accept mostly students already have bachelor background, that true. But it also accepts outstanding collage students.
2. Medical students can go away with a bachelor degree in medicine at the end of basic studies if they decide not to become a medical doctor. But then they are not MD.
3. For those who want to become a MD, they will need to complete much more credits and then to complete their residency.
4. Medical school also train other professionals than MD, also train M.Sc. and Ph.D. Those are graduate students enrolled in Graduate School and in the programs in the school of medicine, same as those in the faculty of Science and Engineering.
