You can't possibly find a shack in the 300s in Norcal, not even for 500K. The latest proposal is to have each state set the limit for interest deduction according to the median price of the state, which makes far more sense.

I am all for popping the realty bubble though I am a home owner and almost done with paying off. All those stupid investors who rushed in during the last couple of years deserve to be wiped out.
