This I cetainly agree. But the concsion in Fang's article is so unconbditional.

Beside, since things is not just black and white,
some cautions are still recommendable. One
should not go to the extreme but you do not
compromize your chilren's readng a lot by refraining
them from readig in a bumpy car, frbiding them
from reading when the rooom is not well-lit.

I don't think Eye exercise is that important
but the some break should be taken to
kick students out of the classroom to do
outdoor activtiies (Not Tai Ji)
