The stock market one is "not enough" because at least he's looking at something very relevent but his problem is he should also look at something more.

As for the morality, I'm not sure science is a suitable tool for judging it because morality is such a subjective thing. It varies from person to person, time to time, society to society.

So what's your point for giving these two examples?
