strong accent when speaking Mandarin. Did you mean Mandarin speakers in mainland China mocking that accent? Or by 港台腔 it really means the accented Taiwanese Mandarin? I suspect that is the case, since if this accent is actually from TV or movies, Cantonese dialogs are dubbed in Mandarin, you shouldn't hear the true accent of Cantonese speakers.
