Among those 3 who had to leave (2 were told to leave, one were asked to take a paycut but he refused), only one remains confident China is still a place he should base his career in. Now I speculate that, if the government don't want to have high calibre talents discouraged they may have to do something unconentional. There is a price to pay of course, nothing is free.
