when i read it in 1993 winter, i found it in a desolate corner of a library, full of dusts, i checked backside record: no one borrowed it before.

several years later, i found it to be among the top bestsellers in beijing....

i was so shocked. i still believe it's simply due to mass media propaganda, how could such a book be among best sellers? it didn't show high taste of beijing readers at all.
