chemical substance in such "egg" is below the level specified by food safty standards, I don't see any reason why they can't legitimize this business (consumer should be informed they are simulates though).
Eggs probably do harm as much as benefit to adults anyway. A safe alternative is pretty good, like tofu vs. cheese.
