In practise, it is still very very difficult
to come up with a meaningful spoof with the same
MD5 hash result. Therefore, there is some way to
go to invalidate any digital signature algorithm
with secure paddings.
Still, in theory, it is quite a significant
finding. If anything, designer of secure protocols
and/or envelopping formats must take such
theorical "cracking".
