HONOLULU -- The 90-year-old woman who had hoped to break a world record at the Honolulu Marathon came so close. Intestinal problems forced Gladys Burrill to drop out of the race a heartbreaking two miles short of the finish line.
The woman they call Glady finished the race four times before. She did finish 24 of the 26 miles Sunday and said she is feeling no pain.
