Pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed) is more or less an index and search engine for biomedical literature. Things you find there are not endorsed by NIH in anyway. Just like a Google search,the results are not endorsed by Google.There is some selectivity, but not much.
