i told my niece i didn't even know this show, which disappointed her very much.

i admitt i watched little TV after 8pm (PBS or news only and before 8 comedies), but i still know names of many shows, however PB is not among them

this brings my Q: i know PB popularity declined, but was it ever among top shows in the states? just want to find an excuse for my ignorance...
