i care a lot about song composers (no, not lyricists, i don't care lyrics) to me they are much more important or talented, or making more contributions to culture , than singers.

i am really surprised at this accusation, to me it's news, i have never heard any piracy of song writings by singers, maybe between writers, but not from singers.

it's not because chinese singers are really that decent, it's simply because china don't respect enough of song writers, why would a singer pirate the credit of writing a famous song, all credits, fans attention, money get to him already, why he needs to do that? when fans copy a song lyrics, they normally will ignore who wrote/compose it
