A feral teenage girl who stabbed a man in the neck and then told friends 'just let him die' was jailed for life for murder today.

Callous April Bright, 17, knifed Mohamoud Hussan outside a pub and casually walked away as he stumbled around with blood spurting from the wound.

She then casually wiped the blood from her hands in the womens' toilet and continued partying in the bar.

Bright, now 18, was found guilty of murder at Bristol Crown Court and jailed for life yesterday with a minimum term of 12 years.

The jury heard that at 1.30am, Bright and her group entered the pub, where Hussan already was.

They had had no contact in the vibrant, loud atmosphere

The jury was told Zarah Jama, who knew Mr Hassan, witnessed Bright being hostile to him just before the fatal stabbing, stood between the pair and told Bright to leave him alone.

"Zarah Jama saw a flash from the position where the defendant was stood, in an upwards direction towards Mr Hassan's neck. What she saw was the flash of a knife."

Having pushed her way to where Hassan was lying bleeding to death it is claimed that witnesses heard April Bright say: "I don't care, I told you so. F*** him, let him die."
