You were impressed by the copy version first and several years later you heard the original one. As a result, you have a strange feeling toward the original one. For example, ABBA's songs were copied by Fei Xiang and some other third rate singer.
Another bad thing is that they didn't copy the songs totally. However, they "simulate" or "mimic" part of the original ones. Many "heavy weight guys, like "Luo Dayou" and "Qi Qin" played this kind of tricks.
