Democracy, or to be more precise representative democracy , does not end at election. The problem with Hitler was exactly that, Germen gave up their democracy for dictatorship. If representative democracy last in Germany, Hitler would have been thrown out. However, because of their ultranationalism, Germen choose the worst kind of dictatorship. Seeing the ultranationalism goes in China, who knows what China will become. Until China become a democatic country, a weaker China may be the best to the world.
