In this Letter, we summarize a few facts about the procedure below. By doing so we hope to bring the attention of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) who funds the trials, the Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) of the hospitals where the trials are currently undergoing, and all current and potential patients of the trials.
