On the other hand, like any developing countries, male chauvinism is still mainstream in Latino countries. The extent of “machismo" in Latin cultures is comparable to “女人像衣裳” in traditional Chinese culture. The more women you have, the better "manhood" you proved.
Because of the common betraying in Latino husbands, the wives tend to have affairs too for various reasons. So Latina in general have higher rate of ex-marriage affairs than the European or North American women.
My Latino friend says that having affair is like having small pox, sooner or latter you will have it. Earlier is better (less damaging).
