I am incredulous and aghast over your most irresponsible comments. As a friend and colleague of Dr. Xiao’s you are certainly entitled of your own opinion on his character and the merit of his work, and free to share them. But your attacks on Dr. Fang are not only hostile but nothing more than sheer lies. Dr. Fang has been critical on Dr. Xiao but he has always based his criticism on facts. Dr. Fang was savagely assaulted by armed thugs last month. Base on substantial evidence now we know that Dr. Xiao was behind the atrocity. Dr. Xiao has been detained and will have to answer for these crimes in a court of law. Your trying to influence the public opinion over an ongoing criminal investigation with personal attacks and distortion of the truth is unacceptable and unbecoming of a medical professional.
