educators have advocated for more tolerant and accommodating ways of teaching English to kids with accents, dialects, or other languages. in fact, kids are so curious that they will have a lot of fun and quality learing when *translating* not *correcting* their accents, dialects, and moth tongues to accepted English, and vice versa. the same thing applies to family education. make sure that you let the kid get a very personal and easy understanding that different people do speak differently and make it fun for him or her to translate back and forth.
