Dr. Peters became chairman of the department of Urology at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak in 2007.
He joined Beaumont in 1991 as a urology resident, and completed an additional urology fellowship at the hospital after his residency. Widely recognized as a leader in conducting research, Dr. Peters is internationally known for his work on nerve rerouting surgery, interstitial cystitis and neuromodulation.
