frankly say, msot of WH's problems happen at every big city. compared with other big inland cities, WH is not behind too much. u do know how many nearby people want to immigrate to WH, even including nearby provinces.

True WH have some glaring problems.

one of course is traffic, that again is complex and has so many reasons that it is hard to fix. When a BJ vice major was relieved of his duty on city traffic, how many really think he could/should ahve doen much better.

2nd is pollution, difficult to see a day of blue sky and white clouds.

3rd is enlightenment. as FZZ realized. but many inland cities are like WH.

All htose problems are also signs that WH has big potential for furhter development. if compare SZ with WH, one cna easily find that in the past several years SZ almost stop changing (except some unfinished metro and univ games prep) but WH changes at daily pace, everywhere is ugly construction site and dusts.

SZ is almost fully developed and will be hard ot find new source for growing, but WH at now has no such problem. what it needs most is a world event.
