喜多郎的丝绸之路算得上是 New Age 的经典，Caravan 本是丝绸之路中的一首纯音乐，84年喜多郎出了一张single Caravan，加入了Richard Page 的 Pages vocal，成了这首歌。82年香港无线电视播放了丝绸之路的专辑，由黄沾填词，赵文海编曲，罗文演唱了这首歌的中文版：同途万里人。当时我就很喜欢，可是后来听了 Kitaro with Pages 的这个版本，发现赵文海的编曲和喜多郎的实在无法相比，至于录音和制作，也有相当的距离。至于歌词方面，黄沾的词带有浓郁的历史民族气息，而 Pages 的则强调个人，要说高下，那是见仁见智了。我有喜多郎的乐谱，上次和老婆用 Korg 的 OASYS synthesizer program 了 background，奏了一曲 Koi，效果十分好，也许下次试试 Caravan。
